As County Legislator for the North Fork, Democrat Al Krupski of Cutchogue, has spent his time in office focused on preserving open space, pushing for clean water infrastructure, and preserving the environment. He has served in this position for the last nine years and made allies on both sides of the aisle as a centrist Democrat who supports the construction of affordable housing in downtown Riverhead.
His opponent, Republican Remy Bell of Riverhead, could not be reached for comment.
