Councilman Neil Foley (R-Blue Point) represents a diverse and development-heavy district. Foley has posited that while development is effective and necessary, open-space preservations and logical green energy solutions are also necessary. Foley’s opponent, Francis Salazar (D), did not respond to The Messenger for a candidate spotlight.
