This Weekend’s Peconic County Brewing Beer and Music Festival!

-

On September 10, Riverhead will welcome the first of its kind beer and music festival hosted by Peconic County Brewing from noon until 10 p.m. at Grangebel Park.

Jeff Schaeffer, who owns Peconic County Brewing, decided that he wanted to create a worthwhile event that shook the town of Riverhead. Schaeffer, who is a Patchogue native, enjoys the many festivals and events that his hometown offers, so he wanted to bring the action to Riverhead.

“I really think Riverhead has a lot more to offer than people realize, I wanted to create a fun event that can highlight the downtown and leave people with a memorable event that they could look forward to year after year,” Schaeffer reported to Riverhead Local. “After spending time in the beautiful Grangabel Park I thought if I was able to combine that scene with great music, PCB beer and food, we would make one killer event. So we brought in Long Island’s best local bands and we are ready to ROCK!”

In addition to gathering all Long Island’s top bands – The 90s Band, Oogee Wawa, South Bound and Decadia, to name a few, Schaeffer boasts concession stands, vendors, crafts, paintball and axe-throwing. There will also be a Reflections exhibit open with a full lighting event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Customers can expect all flavors on tap, including Coopers Summer Ale and Hampton Haze IPA while surrounded by the relaxed ambiance of the river. After six months of planning, Schaeffer is confident this will be a “once in a lifetime experience down here in Riverhead.”

The brewery’s popular website, peconiccountybrewing.com, has a ton of information including parking maps so that attendees can properly plan ahead on where they choose to park. Tickets for Saturday can also be purchased for a general admission price of $40. If you wish to experience a two-hour beer tasting of different and exclusive brews from noon to 2 p.m. A $50 ticket is also available to purchase.

Additional information is also available on the breweries Facebook and Instagram.
