Prince Harry’s Tell-All Memoir Leaked in Spain

-

Attacks on His Family Drive Royal Family Further Apart

Prince Harry once believed in civility and family values, but now, he’s tearing the family apart— and the Royal name with it.

Netflix released Harry & Meghan, a docuseries highlighting the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

After begging to stay out of the spotlight, the $100 million production proves they prefer to be anything but.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex married in 2018, and nearly a year later, they had their first son, Archie. In 2021, they had their second child, Lilibet.

When Prince Harry and Meghan moved out of Nottingham Cottage, in Kensington Palace, and moved to a California mansion, there was an unspoken wedge between the family.

“Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us,” Harry and Megan said.

But what surprised millions of viewers, was Harry’s facility to speak ill of his family.

At Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September, tensions were high between Harry and his brother, Prince William. The family gathered in Sandringham, one of the royals’ many estates, and the brothers got into an argument.

“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me,” Harry said in the docuseries.

Harry’s memoir, Spare, was released on Tuesday but was leaked in Spain about a week ago— giving readers an early look at the tell-all.

Writes ABC News, “the title of Harry’s memoir is a nod to his birth order as the younger brother of William, heir to the throne.”

“I was 20 the first time I heard the story of what Pa allegedly said to Mummy the day of my birth: ‘Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an Heir and a Spare — my work is done,” Harry wrote in his memoir.

In Spare, Harry also reportedly breaks a forbidden rule: listing the number of people he killed as a military helicopter pilot in Afghanistan (25 members of the Taliban, according to Harry). Discussing combat outside of the military can trigger hurt, encourage vengeance, and brings dishonor to any family, not just the Royals’.

Another explosive detail was an alleged altercation that occurred between Harry and William— supposedly about Meghan.

“It was a buildup of – frustration, I think, on his part. It was at a time where he was being told certain things by people within his office,” Harry told 60 Minutes. “And at the same time, he was consuming a lot of the tabloid press, a lot of the stories. And he had a few issues, which were not based on reality. And I was defending my wife. And he was coming for my wife. She wasn’t there at the time, but through the things that he was saying.”

“I was defending myself. And we moved from one room into the kitchen. And his frustrations were growing, and growing, and growing. He was shouting at me. I was shouting back at him. It wasn’t nice. It wasn’t pleasant at all. And he snapped. And he pushed me to the floor,” he added.

Harry was in “disbelief” at what had happened and chose not to fight back, he assured.

This information did not sit well with the royals.

A source told ET that the royal family is “bracing themselves for the next round of allegations.” They also added Prince William’s sentiments stating that he is “furious” and “feels Harry has crossed a line.”

The Oprah Interview. A Netflix Docuseries. A memoir. What will Harry and Meghan do next to “stay out of the public eye?”
