UPCOMING EVENTS: The Last Full Weekend Before the Big Day!

-

This coming week is arguably the busiest week of the year.

Between shopping for friends, family and kids, holiday parties and end of year quotas at work right smack in the middle of our normal day-to-day schedules, it can get really overwhelming. Let’s see what we can do this weekend to calm the storm, take a break, and enjoy the holiday season.

Friday, December 16

  • Safari Adventure in Riverhead is hosting its annual Christmas Party from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Santa, Olaf, the Grinch, the Elf on the Shelf and Rudolph are all expected to appear. Kids are encouraged to come in their holiday pajamas and all parents can come in their ugly Christmas sweaters.
  • Painting with a Twist in Centereach invites all children ages 5-7, accompanied by an adult, to paint the β€œStealin’ Christmas” Grinch picture from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Reservations must be made online.

Saturday, December 17

  • Santa will be at White Post Farms in Melville from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Holiday magic shows will run throughout the day and the animals are excited to be fed!
