Legislator Leslie Kennedy (R-Nesconset) hosted a successful fundraiser at the Beach Club Estate in Lake Ronkonkoma.
The event featured prominent local attendees, from labor leaders to Suffolk County’s District Attorney Ray Tierney (R-Commack).
Chairman of the Suffolk County Republican Party Jesse Garcia and Chairman of the Smithtown Republican Party also made their presence known in their mutual support of the veteran legislator.
Suffolk’s Comptroller, John Kennedy (R-Nesconset), husband, made it clear that the support received by all those in attendance was much appreciated and vital for the continued success of his wife.
Legislator Kennedy stressed that above all else, it was the “friendship” of all those in attendance that meant the most and allowed her to continue her job with tenacity.
Members of the Legislature are up for election in November of 2023
