The Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Chapter 2172 of the Tri-M Music Honor Society proudly hosted its 19th annual Honors Recital and Induction Ceremony on April 15, celebrating the musical achievements and dedication of its student members.

During the ceremony, eight talented music students were formally inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society: Kieran Browne, Nila Manian, Austin Nam, Maxwell Quartararo, Isaac Rubenstein, Sebastian Salzman, Luca Thomsen, and Leilani von Oiste. Each student demonstrated excellence not only in music but also in the core values upheld by the organization.

Membership in the Tri-M Music Honor Society is based on five key points of distinction: scholarship, character, cooperation, leadership, and service. These criteria reflect the society’s commitment to recognizing well-rounded students who contribute meaningfully to both their school and community through music.

The evening’s honors recital showcased the musical talents of students, highlighting the dedication and artistry that define the school’s music program. The event continues to be a longstanding tradition that celebrates both achievement and the importance of music education. For nearly two decades, the Tri-M induction ceremony at Earl L. Vandermeulen High School has recognized outstanding student musicians and reinforced the values of leadership and service through the arts.
