Dr. Denton’s distinguished career spanning over nineteen years at Longwood Central School District has been defined by his unwavering dedication to fostering diversity, inclusion, and unity. From his tenure as an assistant principal at Longwood Middle School and Coram Elementary School to his leadership as principal at Coram Elementary School from 2012 to 2017, Dr. Denton has consistently championed initiatives aimed at empowering and uplifting the community.
Under Dr. Denton’s guidance, transformative programs such as the My Brothers and My Sisters Keeper mentoring initiatives have provided invaluable opportunities for children, while his leadership within the District’s Community Connections Committee led to the establishment of impactful events like the Unity Walk and the annual Community BBQ, drawing significant participation from across the community.
