Families across Suffolk County are invited to celebrate Halloween early at the Farmingville Historical Society’s Trick-or-Treat Trail, happening Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Farmingville Hills County Park.
Presented by Suffolk County Executive Edward P. Romaine and County Legislator Nick Caracappa, this festive community event encourages children and families to dress up in costume and enjoy a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience along the park’s scenic trail.
Participants will be able to trick-or-treat along the trail, learn about the history of candy, and fill their bags with real, full-size treats.
“It’s a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and get into the Halloween spirit,” said organizers from the Farmingville Historical Society.
Pre-registration is required, with a suggested donation of $15 per trick-or-treater. Funds raised help support the Farmingville Historical Society’s ongoing community education and preservation programs.
