Kings Park Day: Celebrating 43 Years!

Following Festival Day in Smithtown on the calendar, but standing apart in its own right, the hamlet of Kings Park and The Kings Park Chamber of Commerce showed why Smithtown’s northwest corner retains a special prideful feeling among its residents.

The downtown street and sidewalks were packed with families – masked and unmasked – taking in the sights, the sounds, the aromas, and the history.

Many local organizations joined the Chamber in highlighting the best the community has to offer, including the Kings Park Civic Association, the Nissequogue River Park Foundation, the Kings Park In The Know, and many others.

The local political parties staffed tables with volunteers to distribute literature in advance of November’s general election. Numerous state, county and town elected officials and candidates were on hand to meet voters. Main Street merchants were joined by local business and trades people, artisans and musicians, as well as a diverse bunch of vendors, stores, and clubs.
